Husker is a Founding Member of the Freedom Riders USA.  He's a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer, after serving 23 years with the United States Navy (Submarine Force), and is currently pursuing a second career in Public Safety.  Prior to joining the Navy in 1973, he grew up on a farm in the Nebraska/South Dakota "grain belt". He's an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan thus the Road Name, "Husker". He's been riding since age 14, when he bought and hid from his folks his first bike, a Bridgestone 90cc. He currently rides a 98 Road King Classic that has over 72K miles on it and has been to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Sturgis, Rolling Thunder in DC several times, Key West, Myrtle Beach, around the Great Lakes a time or two; and not on a trailer. If you EVER see his green/black Road King Classic on a trailer (CT plate "HUSKER") , report it to the COPS, because his bike has been stolen.  If you ever see him on the road, pull in along side, it would be honor to ride with you, and hope you don't have a tight schedule, "cuz we ain't gettin home till after dark".  "Just Ride"
