8 years active duty Navy, PN1, stationed on the USS Vulcan AR-5 and the USS Canopus AS-34. Switched gears to the Connecticut Army National Guard as SSG for a few years while I finished up my nursing degree at UCONN. Got my commission as an Army Nurse andfinished out a total of 26 years military service and retired in December 2008 after 2 deployments to Kuwait, Qatar & Iraq as a Trauma & ICU RN. Married to “ Husker “ for almost 30 years. We’ve got 2 kids & 6 grandkids. I’m riding my 2nd Harley ... I’ve been on my 2005 HD Soft-Tail Deluxe since January 2006 ... and I’ve put about 70K on her. Just had her painted a metallic blue from the original black cherry. I’m a VA nurse ... and hoping to retire in 5 years so Husker & I can take our RV and seethis beautiful Country of ours. We love riding & camping ... And grateful for & love our circle of Veteran friends/family.
